Tomas Mac Eoin, Class of 1968, has sadly passed away. He attended the last PPU dinner in Feb 2017 with his 1968 cohort, and read the citation for Jim Dowling (Hall of Fame Winner) at the 2016 dinner. The Annual PPU Mass for deceased members takes place Sunday, 25th June in the school at 11.00am. All Past Pupils, along with family and friends, are most welcome.
Past Pupil James Shortall has sadly passed away. James celebrated his 100th Birthday last October. He was Honorary President of Dublin Wheelers Cycling Club. On behalf of all in Joeys we extend our deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
Past Pupil John Harkin has sadly passed away. He attended the school in the late 1970s. He was a very talented runner as a teenager and won several All-Ireland gold medals. On behalf of all in Joeys we extend our deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
